EXPERIENCE

I worked as part time lecturer at Systems and Computation Department in the Instituto Tecnológico de Durango, Mexico, from 1995 to 2003. In addition, I worked from 1998 - 2001 in the company OMANet, working in the areas of sales and development of Internet products and services for small and medium sized companies; ecoadventuremexico.com was one of the main projects.
I was lecturer in the Instituto Tecnologico de Durango, México, in the following special courses (degree diploma): Executive Information Systems (SIE), Decision Support Systems (DSS), Electronic Commerce and E-Solutions: Business Solutions through Internet.
I have been lecturer at Postgraduate studies (Master’s Degree) at Instituto Universitario Anglo-Español, Universidad Autónoma de Durango, Universidad Autónoma España de Durango (México) in the areas of Information Systems Management, Research Methodology, Project Management and Internet Business Solutions.
I was coordinator of keynote conferences and technical communications areas at the International Congress on Computer Science 1997 (CIICC 1997); general coordinator of keynote conferences in the first and second International Symposium of Computer Science and Informatics (SISCI 1999 and 2000); conference coordinator, tutorials and technical communications in the International Congress in Computer Science and Informatics 2002; keynote conferences coordinator in the International Congress in Computer Science and Informatics 2003.
I directed some projects in creativity contests in the local and regional phases: Virtual Kiosk of Tourism (1998) and Electronic Book for Entrepreneur Development (2000).

RESEARCH AND ACADEMIC STAYS

I was in a research stay at The Texas University at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College from February to March 2001, in the areas of educational technology and distance education.
From July to August 2001 I was in a research stay at the University of Belgrade, Republic of Serb (Ex- Yugoslavia), in the area of electronic commerce. Advisors: Dr Veljko Milutinovic (University of Belgrade) and Dr Enrique (ITESM, Campus Mexico City).
